Peninsula Arts Council News and 2008 Calendar of Events January PAC gains new Board Members, Beth Mostovoy, from Art on the Square and Julie Goodenough, Silicon Valley Open Studios February 2/4- PAC Board Meeting- Twin Pines Art Center Avenue of the Arts banner goes up on Ralston Avenue in Belmont highlighting the Peninsula Arts Council and other important arts organizations along Ralston Ave. March - March is Arts Education Month! 3/4- PAC Board Meeting- Twin Pines Art Center March/April -The Caldwell Gallery -The Female Gaze, juried exhibition of work by County artists, sponsored by County Arts Commission, County Commission on the Status of Women, and Peninsula Arts Council March/April - Community Gallery -The Female Gaze, as above Congratulations to PAC Board Member Judy Sleeth for being named Arts Educator of the Year by the San Mateo County Arts Commission! April 4/1- PAC Board Meeting- Twin Pines Art Center 4/26- Arts Forum: “Connecting the Arts in San Mateo County. Developing San Mateo County into a Destination for the Arts, 10-2 p.m., Lifemark Center, San Mateo CLA Seminar- California Lawyers for the Arts will present a seminar on Intellectual Property Rights at the Peninsula Museum of Art, 10 Twin Pines Lane on April 29 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. To register for the seminar, or for further information, call California Lawyers for the Arts in San Francisco or email amy@calawyersforthearts.org.
