Artist Statement:
My medium is acrylic paint. Working intuitively, I start by choosing a color theme and lines that create and connect my objects with one another. In my finished work, the viewer discovers new and different images in the interconnecting lines. An important goal for me is to keep the view interesting enough to take a second look and fully explore my paintings. More and more of the painting is revealed the longer one looks at it. I hope you will enjoy discovering and exploring my work.

BIO:
Beate Amler was born in Heidelberg, Germany and lives and works in Foster City, California.

She has a Master’s in Graphic Design and studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Princeton Art School and Academy of Art in San Francisco.

Her work has been exhibited at art shows in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. Her paintings are owned by private collectors in the US, Germany, New Zealand and Canada.
