The Peninsula Arts Council has curated a collection of items highlighting the broad range of talent that exists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over 1000 DVDs, CD’s and books in the collection feature the unique talent of artists, writers and business leaders who live or have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. The DVD film collection, curated in conjunction with the San Mateo County Film Commission, features over 65 films actually filmed in San Mateo County! Find films such as “Heaven Can Wait” & “The Wedding Planner” filmed at Filoli Mansion or “Mrs. Doubtfire”, whose courtroom scenes were filmed at the historic San Mateo County courtroom located in what now is the San Mateo County History Museum.

Additional lists such as The National Endowment for the Arts, NPR’s “You Must Read This!” list and Oprah’s Book Club list are also featured.  A portion of each sale helps support the programs of the Peninsula Arts Council.
