BRENA BAILEY
Brena Bailey, an 11-year veteran of the San Mateo County Convention & Visitors Bureau, heads up the San Mateo County Film Commission as Film Commissioner, successfully attracting film makers to the county, in turn, creating economic impact.  Married to a Londoner for 37 years, Brena is mother and a new mother-in-law. A true “Southerner” she is a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana and has lived in San Mateo for 35 years and knows and loves the area well.  Brena is an active member of the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), California Film Commission (CFC), SF Bay Area Film Commissions, Bay Area Women in Film & TV (BAWIFT), and serves as a board member of the Film Liaisons in California (FLICS).  She has been very active in the Girl Scouting movement in Northern California, for many years.  She is a GS Trainer, GS Workshop Leader, GS Heritage Committee Member and in the GS Alumni Organization (GSA). She is an active volunteer at the San Mateo Arboretum Society and the Hayward Park Garden Club, of which she is President.  She is very proud to be working on several committees and as a board member, of the Peninsula Arts Council for over 5 years.
